The ECOWET SERIES wet dust collector is a specialized device that has been engineered to handle combustible or hazardous dust from a variety of applications. The unit is constructed from either stainless steel or painted steel and utilizes the power of water filtration to capture and remove harmful particles. The collector works through a simple yet effective process where the turbulent water zone forces the particles into the water, and a main baffle ensures they are submerged for proper filtration. The air and water mixture is then passed through another series of baffles, which separates the clean air from the dirty water. Secondary mist eliminators drain any remaining water from the airflow. The water that collects the particles then settles in a collection bin through gravity, and the cleaned air is released back into the environment.
